Have you ever heard of the word Mugwart? We bet you’ll never forget it now! For centuries, mugwort has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to support warmth, circulation, and overall balance in the body.

Mugwort baths are a calming ritual for anyone seeking relaxation and wellness support and at Moon Rabbit, we have curated the perfect blend for using it at home.

In TCM, mugwort is traditionally believed to help warm the meridians, encourage the smooth flow of qi and blood, and dispel internal cold. A warm mugwort soak can feel grounding, soothing, and deeply restorative, especially during times of stress, fatigue, or seasonal transition.

Mugwort Bath Benefits

  • Promotes relaxation and stress relief

  • Supports circulation and warmth throughout the body

  • Helps ease feelings of coldness and stagnation

  • Encourages muscle relaxation and physical comfort

  • Creates a calming, grounding self-care ritual

  • Traditionally used to support menstrual comfort and balance

  • May help encourage restful sleep and relaxation

Mugwort Baths & TTC (Trying to Conceive)

The smooth flow of qi and blood are often considered important aspects of reproductive wellness. *At Moon Rabbit, we recommend adding mugwort baths into your TTC self-care routine as a way to promote relaxation, support circulation, and nourish the body. Mugwort is known to warm the lower abdomen and support overall balance.

We’ve found that many patients enjoy mugwort baths as a comforting part of their self-care routine. They enjoy incorporating them as a gentle way to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and cultivate warmth and relaxation during their fertility journey.

How to Use

Bath Soak: Place one sachet in a warm bath and allow the botanicals to steep for a few moments, releasing their aromatic oils and therapeutic properties. Gently squeeze the sachet to further disperse the herbal infusion. Soak for 20–30 minutes, breathing deeply as the warmth helps encourage circulation, ease tension, and support the smooth flow of qi.

Foot Soak: Steep one sachet in a pot of hot water for 5 minutes, then pour the infusion into a basin of comfortably warm water. Soak feet for 15–20 minutes. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, foot soaks are valued for drawing energy downward, calming the mind, relieving fatigue, and preparing the body for restful sleep.

Use 2–3 times weekly, or as needed during colder months, periods of stress, or whenever the body feels depleted, tense, or out of balance.

Note: Consult your healthcare provider before use if pregnant, nursing, or under medical care. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. For external use only. Not intended for consumption. Avoid if sensitive to plants in the ragweed family, or using on broken or inflamed skin. *Not intended to diagnose, treat, or guarantee fertility outcomes.
