West Loop
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
This gentle massage uses gliding, compressing, stretching, and various tools to support the lymphatic system. Unlike body sculpting or weight-loss massages, this calming technique helps boost the immune system, increase energy, improve skin texture, reduce fluid retention and inflammation, and support detoxification to help restore balance.
Preparing for your appointment: Stay hydrated before and after your session, and eat a light meal beforehand. Avoid Botox, laser treatments, or waxing within 24 hours of your appointment.
For postpartum clients, we recommend waiting 3 weeks after a natural birth or 5 weeks after a C-section, with physician clearance.
If you are new to manual lymphatic drainage, please book the 60-minute initial session. Otherwise, choose 90 minutes for a full-body treatment or 60 minutes for a targeted session.
The Benefits
Manual lymphatic drainage supports the movement of excess fluid and stagnation out of the tissues, helping the body recover and restore balance. This calming service is especially beneficial for reducing puffiness, improving circulation, and supporting overall wellness from within.
Digestive Comfort
Gentle abdominal techniques may help support digestive ease and reduce feelings of heaviness or bloating.
Post-Surgical Support
Often used after medical procedures, lymphatic drainage massage can support healing and comfort during recovery.
Detox Support
Improved lymph movement achieved through manual lymphatic drainage supports the body’s ability to process and eliminate waste.
Immune Support
By supporting lymph circulation, manual lymphatic drainage helps the immune system function more efficiently.
Swelling Reduction
Lymphatic drainage massage can help reduce fluid retention and puffiness, especially in the limbs.
Lymph Flow
This gentle technique encourages the movement of lymph fluid, supporting the body’s natural cleansing processes.
Your first visit starts with a thoughtful, one-on-one discussion about how you’ve been feeling physically and what you’re hoping to get out of your sessions. We’ll check in on areas of swelling, fluid retention, or ongoing discomfort, and shape each session with gentle and intentional care.
This initial conversation helps guide a session that is customized, supportive, and aligned with what your body needs most.
Initial Appointment
Each lymphatic drainage visit is centered around supporting healthy fluid movement and reducing congestion in the tissues. Sessions involve soft, repetitive strokes that guide lymph flow through targeted areas, and are commonly chosen for swelling, post-surgical support, puffiness, or overall detox and circulation care.
The Session
Because lymph flow responds best to consistency, many people incorporate lymphatic sessions as part of ongoing wellness or recovery care. The work is extremely gentle and cumulative, with progress often building over multiple visits rather than a single appointment.
Following your session, it’s recommended to drink plenty of water, avoid heavy exertion, and support circulation with light walking or rest. The body may continue releasing fluid and rebalancing over the next 24–48 hours.
Continued Support & Aftercare
Reset, Renew, Detoxify
Each appointment is approached with a slow rhythm and individualized attention, offering a quiet space to support the body’s natural movement and balance. Care is gentle, restorative, and customized to support recovery, detoxification, and whole-body ease over time.

The Science Behind Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage uses gentle, rhythmic movements to stimulate the lymphatic system and support the body’s natural detoxification processes. This calming technique encourages lymph flow, helping reduce inflammation, ease fluid retention, and support immune system regulation.
Through light gliding, compressing, and stretching techniques—along with the use of traditional wooden tools—manual lymphatic drainage improves circulation of lymphatic fluid throughout the body. Enhanced lymph flow supports tissue health, boosts energy levels, and helps the body clear metabolic waste more efficiently.
Manual lymphatic drainage promotes overall balance by calming the nervous system while supporting immune function and skin health. These gentle treatments can improve skin texture, reduce swelling, and encourage a sense of lightness and well-being, helping the body reset and restore its natural equilibrium.

Frequently Asked Questions
Lymphatic drainage massage is not recommended for individuals with acute infections, congestive heart failure, kidney problems, blood clots, or active cancer unless approved by a healthcare provider. Always consult your doctor before beginning any new treatment if you have a medical condition.
Who should not get lymphatic massage?
Many clients notice results within 24 to 48 hours, such as reduced bloating, lighter limbs, or improved skin tone. For ongoing conditions or post-surgical recovery, a series of sessions may be needed to achieve and maintain optimal results.
How quickly does a lymphatic drainage massage work?
Most people experience only positive effects, such as relaxation and reduced swelling. However, mild side effects like increased urination, thirst, or temporary fatigue may occur as the body eliminates toxins. These effects typically resolve within a day or two.
What are the side effects of lymphatic massage?
Signs that you may benefit from lymphatic drainage include frequent bloating, water retention, fatigue, sluggishness, puffy skin, or recurring colds. People with a sedentary lifestyle, poor circulation, or post-surgical swelling also commonly benefit from this therapy.
How to tell if you need a lymphatic drainage massage?
The frequency depends on your individual goals and health condition. For general wellness, once or twice a month is often sufficient. If you’re recovering from surgery, dealing with chronic swelling, or undergoing detox, your therapist may recommend weekly sessions until balance is restored.
How often should you get lymphatic drainage?
A lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle, rhythmic technique that helps stimulate the flow of lymph fluid throughout the body. It supports the removal of toxins, reduces swelling, promotes circulation, and can enhance the immune system. This type of massage is often used after surgery, during detox programs, or to relieve fluid retention.
