Lymphatic Drainage Massage

This gentle massage treatment consists of gliding, compressing, stretching, and the use of traditional wooden tools over the body to gently assist the lymphatic system. Please note this is a gentle, calming technique that differs from body sculpting or weight loss massages. This treatment helps to boost the immune system, increase energy levels, improve skin texture, reduce fluid retention and inflammation, and detox to help you get back in balance and be your best self.

Preparing for your appointment: We recommend that you hydrate both before and after your lymphatic treatment. Also please eat a small meal ahead of time. Please no botox, laser, or wax treatment within 24 hours prior to or after your session.

If you are postpartum, we recommend waiting 3 weeks after a natural birth. If you have had a C-section, please wait 5 weeks and be cleared by your physician.

If you have never received manual lymphatic drainage, please book the 60 minute initial appointment. Otherwise, please book a 90-minute appointment if you want full body or 60 minutes for a more targeted approach.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

The Benefits

Manual lymphatic drainage supports the body’s natural detoxification and immune function by encouraging healthy lymph flow. It can help reduce swelling, ease inflammation, and promote a feeling of lightness and improved circulation.

Digestive Comfort

Gentle abdominal techniques may help support digestive ease and reduce feelings of heaviness or bloating.

Post-Surgical Support

Often used after medical procedures, lymphatic drainage massage can support healing and comfort during recovery.

Detox Support

Improved lymph movement achieved through manual lymphatic drainage supports the body’s ability to process and eliminate waste.

Immune Support

By supporting lymph circulation, manual lymphatic drainage helps the immune system function more efficiently.

Swelling Reduction

Lymphatic drainage massage can help reduce fluid retention and puffiness, especially in the limbs.

Lymph Flow

This gentle technique encourages the movement of lymph fluid, supporting the body’s natural cleansing processes.

Your first visit starts with a thoughtful, one-on-one discussion about how you’ve been feeling physically and what you’re hoping to get out of your sessions. We take time to understand what your body is experiencing and shape each session with gentle, individualized care that supports comfort and balance.

Initial Appointment

Manual lymphatic drainage sessions use extremely light, rhythmic touch designed to stimulate the movement of lymph fluid through the body. The work focuses on key lymph pathways—often in the neck, abdomen, and limbs—and is performed at a slow, gentle pace that feels very different from deeper bodywork.

The Session

Manual lymphatic drainage is often most supportive when received in a series, especially for swelling, post-surgical recovery, puffiness, or ongoing fluid congestion. Some clients come weekly at first, then space sessions out as the body begins moving fluid more efficiently.

After a visit, you may notice increased urination, mild fatigue, or a feeling of lightness as the lymphatic system continues responding. Hydration, gentle movement, and giving the body a quieter remainder of the day can help support this process.

Continued Support & Aftercare

Reset, Renew, Detoxify

Each appointment is approached with a slow rhythm and individualized attention, offering a quiet space to support the body’s natural movement and balance. Care is gentle, restorative, and customized to support recovery, detoxification, and whole-body ease over time.

The Science Behind Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage uses gentle, rhythmic movements to stimulate the lymphatic system and support the body’s natural detoxification processes. This calming technique encourages lymph flow, helping reduce inflammation, ease fluid retention, and support immune system regulation.

Through light gliding, compressing, and stretching techniques—along with the use of traditional wooden tools—manual lymphatic drainage improves circulation of lymphatic fluid throughout the body. Enhanced lymph flow supports tissue health, boosts energy levels, and helps the body clear metabolic waste more efficiently.

Manual lymphatic drainage promotes overall balance by calming the nervous system while supporting immune function and skin health. These gentle treatments can improve skin texture, reduce swelling, and encourage a sense of lightness and well-being, helping the body reset and restore its natural equilibrium.
